Dovecliff Hall Hotel
A proposed website concept: a 115-page search-led digital platform for a country-house hotel.
Verity has designed a proposed website concept for Dovecliff Hall Hotel, built around the way guests actually search, combining premium hospitality design, clearer conversion journeys and an expanded SEO architecture. It was not commissioned by the hotel and has not replaced its live website.
The proposed structure plans 115 pages, including 75 dedicated local SEO landing pages. This architecture is a proposal and has not been implemented.

These figures describe the proposed Verity website concept, which has not been implemented as Dovecliff Hall's live website. Page counts are planned, not built. They are not a measured increase in traffic, visibility, rankings or bookings.
- Proposed
- The 115-page SEO-led architecture, including 75 location and service landing pages, is presented here as a strategy recommendation.
- Concept
- A website concept demonstrating the proposed design, structure and booking journeys.
- Measured
- Google Lighthouse scores taken from headless renders of the existing site and the Verity concept build. These are technical page-quality measures only.
- Not measured
- Google rankings, traffic, bookings and revenue. No claims are made about these outcomes.
A beautiful hotel with a digital presence that could work much harder.
Dovecliff Hall Hotel is a distinctive country-house hospitality business serving several valuable customer groups — hotel guests, wedding couples, diners, event organisers and corporate clients.
The existing website provided a digital presence, but its comparatively compact structure limited how deeply those individual services, customer journeys and search opportunities could be represented.
Verity's challenge was therefore bigger than redesigning the interface. We needed to rethink the website as an acquisition platform.
Address content sparsity across service pages
Increase the number of indexable landing pages
Improve regional search capture
Create clearer navigation pathways for guests
Standardise brand presentation and messaging
Strengthen the underlying website architecture
The existing website → the proposed Verity concept.
The Verity version is a proposed concept. It was not commissioned by the hotel and has not replaced Dovecliff Hall's live website. No commercial results are claimed.
Before
Existing Dovecliff Hall website
- An established website already presents the hotel online.
- Weddings, dining, stays and events share a comparatively compact page structure.
- There is limited room for dedicated service and local search landing pages.
A screenshot of the existing website is not shown, as it contains third-party content Verity does not have permission to reproduce.
After
Proposed Verity website concept

- Premium hospitality design with distinct journeys for weddings, dining, stays and events.
- A proposed 115-page architecture, including 75 local SEO landing pages.
- Clear booking and enquiry calls to action on desktop and mobile.
The proposal doesn't just redesign the website. It changes its scale.

Proposed pages
Including 75 proposed local SEO landing pages
A technically excellent page can only compete for the searches relevant to the content it contains. A compact structure limits the number of subjects, services and search intentions a site can address.
The proposed Verity architecture plans 115 pages — giving individual services, locations and customer intentions their own relevant destinations. This creates a much broader search footprint while simultaneously making the website easier for guests to navigate. This structure is a proposal and has not yet been built.
75 proposed new ways for customers to discover Dovecliff Hall.
Existing local SEO landing pages → Proposed local SEO landing pages
Rather than relying on a handful of general service pages, Verity has planned a local search architecture around the combinations prospective customers actually use when looking for hospitality venues. Five commercially important service categories are mapped against 15 target locations, giving 75 proposed local landing pages. None of these pages are live yet.

Technical quality is only half the SEO story.
A Lighthouse SEO score measures the technical quality of an individual page. It does not measure the breadth of searches for which an entire website has relevant content. The proposed Dovecliff architecture combines both.
Quality
Strong technical SEO foundations.
Reach
A much larger set of useful, search-focused pages.
Result
A stronger search foundation.
Search rankings, organic traffic and enquiries depend on many factors and cannot be guaranteed. The strategy expands the site's ability to address relevant search intent; it does not guarantee rankings.
Measured on the concept, not estimated.

Maintained
Scores were measured using Google Lighthouse from real headless renders of the existing website and the proposed Verity website concept. These are Lighthouse scores — technical page-quality metrics for the concept build — and not Google rankings, traffic or bookings.
Search visibility built in from the beginning.
SEO wasn't added after the design. It shaped the architecture of the website.
A website structured around how guests actually choose.

A bigger website — designed to do a much bigger job.
The Dovecliff concept demonstrates Verity's approach to website development: design, search visibility, content architecture and conversion considered as one system.
The proposed transformation would give Dovecliff Hall a planned 115-page digital platform, introduce 75 dedicated local SEO landing pages, strengthen technical and accessibility scores and create clearer journeys for weddings, dining, stays and events. It is a proposal, not an implemented website.
It is not simply a visual redesign. It is an example of how a website could be planned as a long-term commercial asset.
