Hotel websites that do the room justice.
A hotel website sells an experience. That means large, well-treated imagery, clear room and rate information, and separate enquiry paths for stays, dining and events — built to load quickly and be found by the people searching for a place to stay in your area.

What makes hotels different.
- Visitors judge a hotel on imagery within seconds — small, slow or generic photos lose them before they read a word.
- Guests arrive through different routes — direct stays, dining, events, weddings — and each needs its own clear path.
- Online travel agencies take a significant cut of every booking; a strong direct website reduces that dependency.
- Rates, offers and availability change constantly, but most hotel websites still need a developer to update them.
How that changes the website.
- Large, fast-loading imagery galleries that do justice to the property without slowing the page
- Clear room and suite pages with honest descriptions, capacities and pricing
- Separate enquiry paths for stays, dining, events and weddings
- On Growth and Signature packages, a content dashboard so your team can update offers and seasonal content without a developer
- Local search foundations for "hotel in [your area]" and related searches, planned around what guests actually look for
- Accurate structured data describing the hotel, where it genuinely applies
These are typical deliverables we can scope for your project. What is included depends on your package and the agreed proposal.
Designing the journey from first look to booking.
A hotel website has several audiences at once: leisure guests, business travellers, diners, event organisers and couples. Good hotel website design gives each of them a clear route, without making the site feel like a directory.
Rooms and suites
Each room type deserves its own presentation: honest photography, size, beds, views, accessibility and what is included. Guests compare rooms side by side, so consistent layouts and clear differences matter more than long descriptions.
Weddings, events and dining
Event organisers and couples need different information from overnight guests: capacities, spaces, packages and how to start a conversation. We plan these as separate sections with their own enquiry routes, rather than one generic contact form.
Booking and enquiry journeys
We design around the booking engine or channel manager you already use, rather than replacing it. The aim is that "Check availability" is always within reach, and that enquiries for stays, tables and events go to the right place.
Mobile usability
Many guests browse hotels on a phone, often while travelling. Room pages, directions, phone numbers and the booking button are designed to work first on small screens, with imagery sized so pages stay quick.
Local search structure
Guests search for "hotel in [town]", "hotel near [attraction]" or "wedding venue in [county]". We research which of these deserve dedicated, genuinely useful pages, and which are better served by strong sections on existing ones.
Redesigning an existing hotel website
A redesign starts with what already works: pages that rank, enquiry routes guests use and content worth keeping. We protect existing URLs where possible and plan redirects where they are needed, so a new design does not undo past visibility.
Dovecliff Hall Hotel — illustrative website concept, not a commissioned client project.
Our Dovecliff Hall concept shows how we would approach a country-house hotel: room presentation, separate wedding and dining journeys, and a proposed local search structure. It is a demonstration of our thinking. Verity was not appointed by the hotel, the concept has not been launched, and no bookings, enquiries or rankings are claimed.

A hotels website should feel like the business behind it — not a template. We design around the character, customers and conversion path that matter to your sector.

The difference it makes.
A direct website designed to give guests a clear reason to book with you
A website that loads quickly even with large imagery
Enquiry routes designed to reach the right team
Room, dining and event information that is easy to find on a phone

Questions about hotels websites
We build around your existing booking engine or channel manager. Our job is the website, the structure and the enquiry paths — we connect to whatever you already use for reservations.
