How Much Should a Business Website Cost?
There is no single answer — but there are sensible ranges, and there are things worth paying for.

Most business owners asking this question have had several quotes that are wildly different, and no way of judging which one is fair.
Why quotes vary so much
A website quote is really a quote for a set of decisions: how much research goes in, how much of the design is genuinely bespoke, whether SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is built into the structure or added later, and how much thought goes into how a visitor becomes an enquiry.
What you are actually paying for
- Time spent understanding the business before anything is designed
- Bespoke design rather than a template with your logo dropped in
- Keyword research and a structure that reflects how people search
- A fast, accessible, mobile-first build
- Clear enquiry journeys, tested on real devices
Verity's starting prices
Verity's three website packages start at £1,995 (Presence), £3,495 (Growth) and £5,995 (Signature). Full details of what each includes are on our Website Packages page. The content dashboard, which lets your team make everyday updates, is included with Growth and Signature only.
The ongoing cost
Every package includes the first year of hosting. Hosting & Care is £250 per year from year two, as set out on our Website Packages page.
